Volvo 740/940 Series, HD Racing Coilovers (Short Strut)

These Coilovers are really something special! Developed for professional use in Motorsport, VRS was able to create adjustable suspension that can be easily tuned for any track and weather conditions. This product is fully P&P to your Volvo 700/900 series and does not require any sort of modification to your car*. It is a set for a front and rear axle.

Main feature of the product is mono tube stainless steel design features a full-length adjustment system to allow shock length and spring pre-load to be adjusted independently. Ride height is adjustable in two ways:
a. Adjustable shock length: The lower mounting bracket can be adjusted, thus changing the overall length of the shock, and therefore altering the vehicle’s ride height. This also allows the user to determine suspension travel and drop.
b. Adjustable spring seat: The adjustable spring seat allows for independent adjustment of spring pre-load without affecting vehicle ride height.

• Coilovers are CNC’d made from high grade Stainless Steel and anodized PA6 (EN AW-2017A) Aluminum. Coilovers do not rust and do not require any maintenance whatsoever.

• Mono Tube internal construction.

• Coilovers were designed to use with Bilstein B8 shocks that have to be purchased at separate cost -> Link 1. Here is an option for less expensive shock setup -> Link 2.

• They do come with helper springs as standard.

• Coils rates available from 225lbs to 650lbs. Springs used as standard are Hypercoil supplied to required lbs ratio in 25 lbs intervals. Optional extra are Eibach coils.
