This is a set for both front and rear axle of your car you simply Plug & Play. As you probably know all RetroTurbo shock absorbers are actually custom made. Which means that the basic setting is adjusted to the needs per individual customer/their car. From this basic setting the driver can use a knob to adjust the setting to the road and weather conditions (smooth, bumpy, wet, cold dry etc). With this one knob you can set different damping settings. When you adjust the knob, both rebound and compression will be adjusted in the right ratio. This unique system makes it very easy to always find the correct setup for the circumstances at hand. Finally the damping system is equipped with a heat device (thermostat) to insure damping force stability and optimum performance during all different operation temperatures. The StageII is an basically a StageI design but with externally adjustable damping. The internals are more complex then with the StageI shock to give an even better damping characteristic. What makes this product user friendly is one single adjuster knob for both the compression and rebound adjustment. With this single knob the total damping can be adjusted over a wide range of 40 clicks from “comfortable” to “sportive/hard”. By using one knob the relationship between compression and rebound always stays correct. Also different from most of our competition, our adjuster changed not only the rebound but also the even more important low-speed and high-speed compression damping. The RSA has an internal thermostat that keeps the damping constant, avoiding the harsh ride in the cold morning, and the loss of damping in the heat of the battle. For the front we have a 40mm upside-down system. The upside-down system gives extra installation stiffness (less flex) which is very important with a Mac Pherson suspension like you have in the front. Important to know is that all our shocks are custom made. So we need to know for what purpose the car will be used. Because some StageII sets we won’t sell for race or rally purpose etc. Not all the accessories can be used for all purposes (like the spring rate adjuster) etc. When you will place an order we will be requesting additional info like to have as many info as possible about the car and wishes of the driver so we can make the best setting possible for your client.
