Terms & Conditions

Returns Policy:

You may return most of new (unopened and in original packaging, not fitted at any point to a vehicle) items within 14 days of delivery for a refund. At such occasion you are required to arrange a return postage at your own cost to our HO in Chesterfield, UK. We reserve right to deduct minimum 5% for every item returned to us to cover:
- additional work related with restocking/repacking this item,
- PayPal fees we incur for this transaction,
- book keeping costs.
Refunds are made by BACS (for UK customers) or Paypal (for non UK customers). If you have been granted ‘free delivery’ on your order we reserve right to deduct amount of moneys needed to cover costs of delivery from final price paid as these were already spent, for shipping prices look in ‘postage rates’ section.

At unlike event return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.): RT Motorsports takes great care into quick and accurate dispatch of every item we have sold. At unlike event return is a result of our error: we’ll arrange courier and cover the return shipping costs (if within EU). For items wrongly sent outside of EU, we agree to cover shipping cost not grater to fees paid for shipping the item in first place; all of these are being returned using PayPal. You should expect to receive your refund within 7-10 working days since your item is received at our end at our address in Chesterfield, UK. This time period includes the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank/Paypal to process our refund request (up to 4 business days). If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the “Complete Orders” link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We’ll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we’ve received and processed the returned item. All returns are being processed with regards to this policy, submitting a return automatically put this policy in charge at every step of a refund process.

As we deliver stock ordered directly from manufacturer/machine shop we don’t allow returns of below items:

  • Machined adjustable cam gear made to your spec or any OEM items machined to customers spec.
  • Custom made parts inc PU bushes, brackets, spacers.
  • Any items manufactured to customer spec.
  • Used parts we sell from time to time (headlamps, carbs, manifolds, calipers, cylinder heads).

PayPal fees/ Bank Fees:

RT Motorsports will not refund any PayPal fees whilst refunding any funds owned to customers. PayPal policy states that these are now non refundable therefore as we cannot claim them back from PayPal we will not  able to refund them to customers. This applies to all paid orders that:
- were wrongly placed by customer error,
- orders placed for out of stock items where delivery ETA does not suit customer time frame,
- orders placed for custom made parts where ETA does not suit customer time frame,
- for maintenance parts for products that have been discontinued and customer is unable to provide us with series number.
For orders where we are at fault (ie supplying custom parts not to spec) we will refund cost in full after receiving parts in our workshop in Chesterfield, UK or when alternative  satisfactory proof that parts were destroyed was supplied by the customer.

Bank Fees, all funds owned to be refunded will be processed minus the bank fees associated with making the transfer. We use Transferwise to minimize the costs on both ends and keep the cost reasonable.

We strongly encourage all our customers to send us a quick message about stock availability and lead time before placing their order to avoid possible inconvenience.


We can ship to virtually any physical address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. We will not ship to PO boxes or addresses different than stated on the original order to protect us from the fraud.

When you place an order, site will do it best to estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

At this point all shipping costs are being invoiced separately by Paypal. We do not offer ‘free shipping’ option on any item. More details about pricing can be found here: Postage rates

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based as well as dimension-based. The weight of most of the items can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full kilogram. At any instance when item posted ‘dimensional’ weight is greater than it’s weight, ‘dimensional weight’ rate will be applied and customer charged appropriately.

Processing orders:

RT Motorsport reserves right at certain occasions to allow us up to 21 working days to process orders. Reasons behind it may be simple as awaiting time for raw materials or when outsourcing particular types of CNC milling that we cant process in our workshop. As we do try to keep our warehouse fully stocked, we cannot guarantee that part ordered will be available of the shelf. What we promise is to keep our Customers informed about processing time at earliest instance either by responding to your ‘stock availability’ inquire before placing an order or at ”order acknowledgement” email being sent out after receiving your order.

RT Motorsports strongly recommends to inquire before making payment about estimated time of awaiting for desired part either by email or contact form to avoid disappointment or lost garage appointments. RT Motorsports strongly suggests not to make any appointments with the garages until parts are received at customer end. We will not be held liable for any costs involved with lost appointments or extra labor costs incurred because of parts not received, delayed or wrongly supplied.

Changes to T&C:

RT Motorsport reserves right to change it’s T&C policies at any time without further notice.  New policy does not apply to orders already placed.
